    Ammo Belt Question ~ Velcro

Hiya currently making myself a ROTJ ammo belt, following the reference, using leather One question - the velcro closure - is the velcro visible through the eyelets when the belt is closed? I'm imagining it is, from the photos of replicas that I've seen but can't confirm as I don't have access...

So...what's the correct ROTJ belt spec?

Hey folks, just starting to build a ROTJ (original, not SE) ammo belt and slowly doing my nut. I'm working from the Dented Helmet ref from this thread, containing Rafalfett's thorough set of templates and reference... Ammo Belt - Tutorial : Ammo Belts V2 (with RafalFett templates) Now...

ROTJ Knees - aside from the darts, are they symmetrical?

Thank you! That's really appreciated - been trying to get confirmation. Was at a Mercs troop last weekend scrutinising my buddy's ESB Fett knees and getting weird looks, and I know that the suit at the Identities Exhibition in London was made up of parts from different costumes, so getting a...

ROTJ Knees - aside from the darts, are they symmetrical?

Hey, folks, I'm currently scratch building a pair of ROTJ knees and have hit a small stumbling block. Using the WoF templates as a guide and referencing this image... Does this hold true for ROTJ too or is it one of the other various flavours of Fett? What I'm interested in is making sure I...

Visor Material other than Welding Visor? (UK)

Pleased to say I bought some Grey Smoked Acrylic from Trent Plastics and, cutting with a fine-toothed jigsaw blade intended for metal (I couldn't find an acrylic-suited blade with a U-Shank) was able to cut it quickly and cleanly. Gentle heating with a heat gun bent it into shape, no problem...

Visor Material other than Welding Visor? (UK)

Actually, I did a test with a welding visor offcut for these new helmets this time around and found that I could heat-form them, which actually made it much easier to fit than my originals (which were a real battle and took two of us and many screws) But, yep, perspex sheet - I may be making...

Visor Material other than Welding Visor? (UK)

That's terrific - love the crazy accurate interior build. Mine are Chicago screws with rubber washers, and a helmet harness attached to four aluminium strips that I've fibreglassed in, secured with Chicago screws again. Thanks for your help and advice!

Visor Material other than Welding Visor? (UK)

Thanks - that's really helpful. Do you have any particular supplier you'd recommend?

Visor Material other than Welding Visor? (UK)

Hey guys, I'm used to using welding visors for T-Visor material but there's an awful lot of wastage. Does anyone have any suggestions for what other sheet plastic material I could use for these so I can be more economical? I'm making a fair number of cold cast helmets for myself and other...

Mando Merc from Nottingham, UK starting to build something canon

Hey there, I'm already a Mandalorian Merc, having built 2 non-canon costumes, but as I am in the middle of building a new helmet from the Rafalfett templates and wanting to know more about canon detail I thought I'd sign up, say hello and be able to read the boards much easier. Pleased to meet...
