Hey Team!
I have been hesitant to post anything on this forum because there are so many talented people on this site it can be a little intimidating. First off this is my first bucket and it will definitely not be my last. I have had so much fun learning and experimenting with this project, I'm not even finished yet and I can't wait to do another helmet! There has been a lot of trial and error because I like to try to do things my own way and most of the time to a fault.
Ok, a few disclaimers...
**This is not a film accurate ESB Helmet. This is a GMH Helmet painted ESB style. If you know anything about the GMH Helmet you know that there was more physical damage than was used for the ESB Helmet. I left the original GMH physical damage and also added the known physical damage of the ESB Helmet. The intention was never to produce a 100% screen accurate ESB helmet.
**The colors are not a perfect match to ESB nor do I claim them to be the best choices. I mixed, matched, and blended different brands and colors of Acrylic paints to what I thought was close to the ESB Film Helmet.
**This is not a how to thread. I enjoy watching other peoples work and thought maybe others would enjoy watching mine. This is just a post to show my progress. Obviously if anybody has questions about any of this like color choice or how I did something, which I can't imagine hasn't been done before, I will be more than happy to share.
