Question About Humbrol Paints

Hey all,

Question, I live in CA and tried to buy my paints last night from Humbrol. They don't ship to CA at the moment, however. Anyone else from CA experienced this? Any way around this that anyone knows of? Thanks!

I live in California, just in case lol

Oh man, I didn't even realize that so I looked it up.

As Hornby America is currently undergoing an audit to ensure that our products comply with California Proposition 65, we are temporarily unable to ship orders to addresses in the state of California.

California man. They have so many darn regulations.

Tell me about it lol. Sometimes living here sucks. But then I see the beach and it's mostly forgiven lol. I tried Amazon and they didn't have most of the paints I need but I'll try some of the other links here. Thanks everyone!

I'm in SC, but I added a humbrol to an order and put in a CA zip code....it looks like they do flat rate shipping there. They have a number you can call on the site as well, just to be sure.

I'm not sure what exactly is best, but I've used Rustoleum automotive primer and a couple others like Krylon and pretty much anything that is flat, grayish and says for metal, plastic etc. The enamel is pretty forgiving in my experience (a big 2 whole helmets worth).

Thanks everyone! So I just got my humbrol paints in the mail. So excited! I didn't expect them to be this small though lol. How many of these 14ml tins does it usually take you to paint larger areas? Like the dome/cheeks or the base coat? Thanks!
