Bargain Flightsuit Run

been lurking on this forum off and on for couple of years and came across this thread(read all 18 pgs.), the quality and praise look superb and I am now (finally)hoping to build my whole suit. Currently working on scratchbuilt helmet from wizardofflight plans, and rounded up some Sintra for the armor, which have been on back burner for while.
Arkady would love to talk with you abou t ordering all soft parts(pricelists) for ROTJ suit .

Thx

thanks for all the info on stitching and approvals everyone! I assumed these awesome soft goods were "good to go", but wanted to ask just incase another noob like myself had the same question. I guess that's my way of justifying all of my silly questions, haha! PM incoming!!!

That's great to hear about Death proof's suit!
I am always open to changing things if there is photographic evidence for it. For example, I was recently checking out the dressing a bounty hunter pictorial and realized that I have been placing my ankle straps on the inside of the ankle when in the pictures they are on the outside of the ankle. So now I'm doing them on the outside. So please, if anyone has one of my suits and something isn't exactly right, I would love to hear about it.
All PM's sent :)

Thanks for the quick response!

Quick question on the difference in "wearability" of the satin vs twill: which ends up being more "troopable"? Does the satin stay cooler, or dissipate sweat better?

I'm not sure what the current jetpack harness vest is made of (some sort of cotton), but holy crap does it ever hold sweat - EW

bzb, both the satin and the twill are on the outside, the vest is lined with a cotton. I think if you are trooping in a hot climate, there is going to be sweat :)
Queso, pm sent

I'm sorry, I can't control sweat :) Isn't that under armor stuff supposed to wick sweat or some such thing?

I have a question for the general Fetts at large:
I had a request on one of my Jangos to sew in some of those plastic quick release clips with an elastic loop for gauntlet hoses. So I started putting them in all the Jangos. Is that something that all the Bobas need too? Because I can totally put those in cheaply and easily. Let me know guys!

I installed those in my Jango Fett and I will probably put them in my Boba Fett also. I would imagine most if not all of the buyers would like that feature.

Carole, I would love to have this added to my current order. Let me know the extra charge and I'll PayPal it over.

Updated for new fabrics 9/25/14
I am continuing a run for both ROTJ and ESB flightsuits. Both fabrics are a mid weight cotton twill. Please send me a PM for pricing and turnaround time. Both suits come with double ended zippers and are made to your measurements. I have added a few extra touches to my suits also. I have changed the sleeve so it is more of a shirt sleeve instead of an overall sleeve, and I have added the stitching details to the pants and sleeve bottoms instead of just the short sleeve.
Here are the fabrics:

Here is a finished suit:

I make the pouches out of the matching fabric for ESB. For ROTJ I make the pouches and spats from a natural duck canvas.
I also am doing vests and neck seals. Here is a sample of the greyish tackle twill along side what I have, which is called peau de soie, also called duchess satin. Due to the debate about shiny side out/ dull side out, I will from now on (1/4/14) ask preferences on new orders.

Outside full sun:

So I cobbled together a pattern and whipped this up:

Here is a separate neck seal:

Please feel free to PM me with any questions.
Thanks, Carole
Carole,

I am slowly putting together a ESB Boba. How much are your flightsuits, pouches, neckseals, and armor vest?

Sincerely,
James Sebree

Queso, I wouldn't charge extra, I can pick these things up cheap in downtown LA. I just wanted to know if you guys would like them :) I guess the answer is yes.
Sebree and ZeroGinc, pm's incoming.

Hey guys, I just want to let anyone know that if they are considering getting soft parts from me in time for December 18, that window will close in about a month. *Weathering not included :)
