What do you paint with?

I know I have had a ton of different ideas for my costume but I am now sure I am going to make a republic commando. While I was looking at online pictures I sudenly realized what the heck do you paint these things with ?wacko I also don't know what to seal them with so that they with they will be waterproof.

well the best and more expensive way to go is to use auto body paint. You can buy it in bulk and use a compressor or you can buy it in spray cans.

The cheaper but still affective way to go, as I plan to do is use a spray enamel in can form of course from your local hobbie shop, then you just need to do a few coats of clear or smoke colored lacquer over top.

Just remember for best results to use 2-3 coast of primer first then 2-4 coats of paint followed by 2-3 coats of lacquer. :cheers

Also you can use Car Paint in spray, its cheap and damage proof
