weathering

ok i am now ready to start my weathering on my jango. is there a thread to how to do it right?

You can use different paints (like brown, black, other brown, ...) and using a drybrush technique on the zones that you will weather.

all i can say is ive done both my wife's zam and my jango with the method i described and it comes out looking very real and not so much like it was painted on. because it is all rub and buff including the silver leaf...it mends together and becomes one look and really finishes off the stuff nice...i havnt personally seen any acryllic weathering done except on my wife's sand trooper, which we actually could scrap off and wash off with a wet brillow pad. i was looking for something more permanant for my jango.
