The Mandalorian Gautlet differences (whistling birds) vs D23 Gaunts

So I'm assuming that I'm not the only one who saw this.
So the Display armour is different than the show armour to some degree?

Stuff like this is usually stunt vs hero costume type of thing. That might even be a prop made only for that specific loading scene too, and not shown generally except for shots where they need to show the needles.

But in this case it could simply be a pre vs post armor upgrade change, the D23 was the pre-upgrade red armor iirc. Even so though I still bet there's still a stunt version of that vambrace.

He got new gauntlets as well as new armor in Ch. 3. The blurrg had chomped his gauntlet and he didn't have that rocket before. The new ones are shiny too.
