Stylized turned to Accurate Pre Pro 2 slow build

Started some more work to accurize the suit by repainting the shoes. I used Tamiya light ghost gray to spray them and then used Vallejo rust brown pigment powder to carry the brown up from the soles.

I then scrubbed the toe spikes down with steel wool to de-weather them a bit and used Angelus brand leather paint to paint the black striping and then chipped it with white to match reference photos.

Very nice build. Dig the painting.

I have used this same kind of cheap boots on my ESB, but I modified them by covering with canvas tissu for more accuracy.

Honestly and I hope you don’t take this the wrong way but I would seriously think about getting a nice fitted flight suit from clothears or arkady because with how nice your paint ups are with the armor and everything else these cheap flight suits will never do it justice and you have some serious talent and I think getting a nice flight suit would complement everything way better! But regardless keep up the good work!!

Thank you and no I never take this kind of criticism personally, I actually plan on getting the flight suit tailored. For right now I’m sunbleaching it. I got a new vest and and on the way to getting new gloves too

Thanks man! Yeah so far they have held up pretty well. Like everything I do plan on getting a “good” set. I’m too impatient to subscribe to the “buy once, cry once” attitude all the time, even though it is absolutely the way to go.

Did some work on the shin tools. I used the Paterson brand found parts. Cut them down, I added a brass end piece to the chemical stirrer to help it sit better and give it some weight. I painted everything lightly and only added minor weathering to reflect the gentle paint work of the real props. I used the turned aluminum rods from Quest Designs for the anti security blade along with the cut off end of the squeegee and some visor material for the blade.

I sourced the 4th tool from the old Marco enterprises boba Fett kit as it had the right look and we haven’t found what this part actually is yet.

Decided to put together a little bust style mannequin. I plan on redoing my armor and helmet so this is just a mock up.

Turning my attention to making the armor a bit better, I got some new panels from Viva Fett ! His shipping was insanely fast!!! Here is the new panels for the chest and collar painted with Tamiya and various rustoleum colors to mimic the different shades from olive drab all the way to forest green.

My focus was getting the smaller details more accurate and colors the proper shade. I’ll add the electronics board from Jupiter electronics soon.

Here are the new plates and shoulders laid out over an old vest. I’m pretty happy with them and I plan on now repainting the chest emblem as it is inaccurate for the prepro2 ( not to knock on trooperbay. His service is great and he has a wide selection but his pp2 emblem has the wrong number of feathers on the main leaf feather thing)

Getting ready for a con this Saturday, small local event but I love going, not a lot of people know what a Pp2 is around here but they still love it. Pleas know that I put this on all by myself so the vest is not secure and sow stuff is wonky

Here are some photos from a small local comic con that I test wore the suit. Lots to tweak and yes I know, the chest armor spacing is jacked up. I have new armor panels and a new vest coming as well as a 7CS jetpack to replace my 3d printed one.

Here are a few more, I still have to replace the dive buckle with a different one, I just used this old one with the logo as a temporary buckle.
I also need to adjust the fit of the flight suit, get it tailored basically bc it’s a little baggy and the shin tool pockets aren’t quite deep enough.

Here are a few more, still have lots of tweaking and new armor for the chest and new flak vest coming. Need to shorten the jetpack straps and also have a 7CS jetpack coming that will be my final one for this suit.
