Storm Trooper Kit

I have an old TK kit, FX armor I believe, I purchased back in 2005. I have never trooped it because I couldn't get it to fit right, especially the hips. Any recommendations on the best way to mod them out and make them fit better. Thanks

Well, without any pictures it`s quite hard to provide any practical advice.
