Isn't that a chipmunk? (The ones around here don't have tails like that, but it looks like a chipmunk otherwise.....Mabey a hybrid? )

those pics are unaltered... the guy has a flickr gallery of them and an explanation... he's trained the little guys with the almonds you see in the photos.

apparently chipmunks love almonds.

I had a more or less housebroken squirrel at the base I was stationed at in the army a few years back. We started feeding it and just placed the seeds closer and closer to us every day until one day he sat on my lap eating out of my hand.



We had to let him go though, he started relieving himself in the barracks after a couple of weeks. Hehe.
