Spicy fett ESB WIP

Well I just finished up the knees and shoulders and I know they aren’t 100% accurate but I love em and I’m pretty proud of the way they came out!was
Dude! You did an amazing job on these, like juat as good , of not better than some of these professional Fett painters, I have followed your build but haven't commented( I can be a bit of a lurker) but after your kind words on my thread I just have to say, man If I can come up with somthing half as good as yours I'd be super stoked! Well done bro!

Thank you so much for the kind words it means a lot! I’m far from being professional lol but I do hope to start taking commissions here in the future!

You no doubt will! There are plenty of people who paint Fett armor for commission and you have the talent to be in the top ter my man! Great work!

May I ask which colors u used and brands? So far I'm using mainly Tamiya sprays with airbrushed weathering but I want to try the archive x paints. I have been painting for long enough to know though, you don't necessarily need fancy paint to get a great and accurate finish, just skill, and color theory.

I use humbrol enamel paints! If you want I can give you a full list of all the paints I’ve used!

If you have the time I'd love it im partial to acrylics ( Tamiya, games workshop, Vallejo and the cheap hobby lobby dollar paint) but i would love your humbrol list so I can generate a comparable acrylics list.
I used tk manage a hobby shop for 12 years before I got into my current and much more fun job, and man, o wish I stocked up on floquil paints. I mean, I had access to as many and all the original colors . . . .. ugh they would have been worth thier weight in gold now!

Ya I’m probably going to get some archiveX paints here pretty soon so I can paint up my second ESB helmet! But ya I’ll send that list over to you in just a bit!

Well that about wraps up the armor!! Jetpack here I come!

So after coat of coat of applying resin and sanding like a madman for days on end I was finally able to put a coat of primer on this bad boy!! So tomorrow I might finally get my first actual coat of paint on this jetpack! I will say I will never go with another 3D printed piece lol it’s light and pretty sturdy now due to the many coats of resin but boy was that a lot of work lol

A "little" bit of work, but it seems to have paid off. Once you start slapping paint on it, it'll be one prime piece of Z-6 Mitrinomon hardware you'll have on your hands! I will say, that does look pretty bad ass though. It was honestly the one piece I really wasn't all that enthusiastic about doing, but once I started - I had a blast with it! And now it is my favorite prop I own. (And I'm still upgrading on it)

I got authorization from the wife to drop that pretty penny on a Boba Maker Jet Pack! And I'm totally looking forward to working some magic on that one too! I'm in the midsts of gathering all the found parts for that pack now and have all but the fabled Quick Disconnect greeblie. I'm told that one is damn near impossible to find - but I'm still hunting! Boba Maker includes them, but they are resin casts. But here is what I'm talking about.....

I have #1, #2, #4 & #5.......but #3.....thats the tough one.

Can't wait to see your ESB Paint job on your pack though! Keep up the awesome work!

Oh man ya that looks like a doozy lol thanks again for the kind words I’m actually teaching my friend to airbrush so he’s going to help me with this one lol so hopefully all goes well and my flightsuit should be in by the end of next month!! The last and final piece I need is my sidearm holster and this bad boy is done!! I am about to start painting another ESB helmet to replace the one I have already done and I’m going to shoot to be even more accurate on the next one seeing as I free handed everything on my first helmet lol

A little more progress nothing crazy but I’m slowly getting there. I will say this is the one part of the whole suit I have not been excited about doing but I’m slowly coming around
