Slave1Pirate's Aluminum ROTJ Hero Level 2 Build PIC HEAVY

Well I did some work on my harness today. I welded it up and ground it down. I still have to grind down the welds under the jetpack hook bar. I like the way it turned out.

That is awesome work you're doing. I bet that was a blast for the kids. You should put together an Edward Kenway kit. By far the best Assassins Creed there ever was. He was my favorite as well. I may put a kit together one day to be him.
I have a kit for edward kenway. Look at my avatar lol. I actually had the Assassins Creed dev team and Ubisoft tell me that my outfit was the most accurate they had seen. However I need to modify as I've gotten too fat for it haha.

I made a pouch flap tonight. Here is how we did it.

We cut strips of thin leather 11 inches long and shaped the ends.

We applied the contact cement to the wrap material and the thin leather flaps. I wanted the flaps to be thick so they wouldn't deform.

I drew my cut pattern around the glued pieces and cut it.

I glued and folded all the edges. Notice the angle edges of the flap are rolled over so you can't see the edge of the filler leather.

I sewed the flap with off white thread.

Glue the front of the indestructible pouch and the flap and placed them together.

I taped the two sides down and began working on the belt loop. Since I couldn't glue the top flap on top because there isn't anywhere to do so not to mention its supposed to be a usable pouch, I used a double cap rivet near the top to close off the belt loop.

I then put a rivet up front the ensure the front flap doesn't cone unglued. This will be covered by velcro and the velcro will be on the flap as well.

Here is the final result without velcro.
