Size comparison of BM and GMH??

Does anyone have both of these helmets to compare size? I remember everyone saying the BM helmet was the smallest available fan made helmet back in 2009, some even saying it was "too small" at one point...but now that the GMH has been discovered, i am curious to see just how close the BM helmet is to the GMH size wise.

I have one of each. I'll try to get some measurements this weekend.
Anything specific you're looking for?

Awesome. Na nothing specific, just the basic measurements. Although just seeing pics of them next to each other would be great as well. thanks man!

Aw. . . my babies! Look how cute they are, all dressed up for a family picture. :lol:

I'll still get those measurements for you.

thanks guys! It doesnt look THAT much bigger. BM definately has more slope to the sides compared to the GMh, but i was pretty sure about that already, this just confirmed it. Looks like BM is the closest to the GMH, all the others are considerably larger

thanks Superjedi, much appreciated!

Here are those measurements.
The height was taken with the helmet sitting on a flat surface, and is measured to the top of the dome.
The width does not include the ears.
The depth is from the back of the helmet to the outer surface of the visor.

BM
W = 9 3/8"
D = 10 1/4"
H = 9 15/16"

GMH
W = 9 1/8"
D = 10 3/8"
H = 9 3/4"

FPH
W = 10 1/8"
D = 10 1/4"
H = 10 1/8"

TF
W = 9 5/8"
D = 10 1/16"
H = 10"

MSH2
W = 9 15/16"
D = 10"
H = 10 1/4"

Interesting how some small variances can create differences in appearance!

Awesome, thanks brother! ...and thanks for adding in those others as well. It IS interesting how those small variances can create differences in appearance. So it appears the BM is the closest to the GMH in size. Which is what i had suspected. The GMH is still a tad bit smaller..which makes me wonder if a GMH would even fit my head with all the electronics i have in it lol. My BM JUST fits with all the electronics in it.

BM
W = 9 3/8" = 238mm
D = 10 1/4" = 260mm
H = 9 15/16" = 252mm

GMH
W = 9 1/8" = 232mm
D = 10 3/8" = 263mm
H = 9 3/4" = 247mm

FPH
W = 10 1/8" = 257mm
D = 10 1/4" = 260mm
H = 10 1/8" = 257mm

TF
W = 9 5/8" = 244mm
D = 10 1/16" = 255mm
H = 10" = 254mm

MSH2
W = 9 15/16" = 252mm
D = 10" = 254mm
H = 10 1/4" = 260mm

Thanks for those measurements, superjedi. I edited your quote to add the metric equivalent of the US values.

Thanks Rafal! It's nice to have another one here fluent in metric. Mental conversion is a pain. And big thanks to Jedi for the comparisons in the first place! :)

Sounds like the GMH would be a nice fit for me as well then. I have a small head and the BM fits nicely but I doubt I could wear anything larger without looking silly.

What is this "met trick" you speak of??? :lol:
Thanks Raf!

Locitus, I agree that someone should get the kind of helmet that looks best on their frame.

If someone is like me and is into it for the trooping and not solely for display then yes I agree with you Jedi. :)
I would not justify wearing an abnormally large helmet for the sake of accuracy, or the reverse. Fortunately with the case of Fett, this is not as much of an issue as it is with the stormtrooper.
