Long story short my girlfriend continuously surprises me and keeps getting better and better.
She's never had an issue with the fact I have multiple costumes (am a nerd in general) and my friends and I frequently suit up in stormtrooper suits.
The other day she mentioned she'd wear whatever I want if I had a costume for her. (yes she did bring up the golden bikini, but there's not too much to it. Yes I know that's not a bad thing)
SO I'm hoping to make her a Samus costume for Halloween this year so we can go out together and both have awesome costumes.
Looking for help from any members here if you've seen a decent costume or reference material anywhere.
Google searches turned up some good hits on cosplay sites so far.
I might take a Pepkura route for most of the costume and detail it as time goes on.
I'm thinking it won't be as much armor since I don't want her to feel cramped like she can't move, so I'm thinking from the thigh up to the chest piece will be fabric undersuit with a few hard plate details that won't restrict movement.
I also want to make the helmet very comfortable for her so she doesn't get freaked out wearing it for a period of time.
Any advice appreciated
