Rubber EE-3 ROTJ/ESB - Gauging Real Interest - PRAETORIAN BLASTERS

Well-Known Hunter
Hey guys. So many of you may remember we offered these about 15 years ago. They were a bit heavy. They proved to be VERY difficult to manufacture in rubber. We've changed and upgraded some of our techniques over the years and we're looking at offering these again. I need to get a real interest list to determine if it's feasible with the costs these days.

ESTIMATED COST:
15 years ago, we offered these at $350 and we took a bath. Currently, silicone is twice the cost that it was back then. We're probably looking at a blaster that will come in around the $575ea mark. They are still going to be heavier than our other blasters due to a welded 3-piece steel armature.

WEBLEY and SCOPE:
Both of these parts were molded from Art Andrews' personal blaster. They are accurate. We've sourced the correct model parts to use for the master as well.

ROTJ vs. ESB:
We will most likely be offering the ROTJ version first since it was the most popular back then. The scope will be cast separately and attached using threaded posts that are embedded into the casting.

The ESB version would come second. We have the Heiland flash tube but I know many people want the MPP. We will source a good example of an MPP and mold that separately. We will offer these black and painted professionally in a flexible paint. In the case of the ESB version, we would suggest having us paint the chrome flash tube for you at the very least.

TIMEFRAME:
We are looking at pulling the trigger on this in the next few weeks. We have everything we need to start the project.

I found this picture of one of the original Hyperfirm EE-3 blasters from long ago. This is the same master that we are using but we've corrected a few things and made some things better for durability.
