Reinforcing vacuum formed armor.

So I just got my armor from Woodman and it looks fantastic! Now does anyone on here recommend reinforcing the back of the armor with resin and fiber glass? I feel very nervous not reinforcing the the plastic.

i asked the same thing time ago. all replied me that abs is nice, very durable and elastic so don't need any fiberglass

I haven't done anything to my ABS and its fine. Like Emme said, its durable. Its also nice and light.

Not needed, it is a waste of time for doing anything to it other then doing it for your mental health if it makes you sleep better.

be mindful that if you do a thick layer the exothermic reaction could become a factor and warp the pieces.

Already thought of that! Will be doing a a few very thin layers of resin before I lay down fiber glass.
