Here's the beginning of the Prudii Skirata I'm building for my youngest son. It should make it's ebut at the Fiesta Bowl Parade on January 3rd 2009!

Mercke Lutso:

The eyepiece, lights and key slot replacement are all froma spykids or spy gear set. It's a pair of glasses with the flip out reticle and lights. My son saw it in the store and HAD to have it on his helmet! I'm quite happy with how it turned out!

There are pix on the Mercs site and here in my Old and new armor thread... It's my old Jaing Skirata rifles with teh barrel removed and the laser scope put on top as a regular scope.

Alrighty, got some armor updates here. Nothing real big but, got the guantlets done (modded some Batman gauntlets) and the knees and shins...

how did you make the rifle?- i like it!

Everyone wants to know about that rifle! LOL. It's actually my old Nerf CS-6 that I had customized for my old character. I shortened the stock to make it more like a carbine for me. When I started on my sons new armor, I poped off the front barrel and took the laser scope from beneath and put it up on top.

Here is all the costume assembled to date. All we have left is the addition of the Mercs patch on the right sleeve and the vest and upper body plates!

Well, last week, I finished my sons Prudii Skirata armor! He is now the newest member of the Manda'galaar Aliit (Heaven Hawk Clan) and an Official Ver'verd in the Mandalorian Mercs!

Here are a few pix that were taken at last weekends armor party at my house. The group shot are all members of Manda'galaar Aliit (the name was the closest Mando'a translation of "Angel" being the LA area clan). Members of the clan from left to right... Granyn (in Jetti robes Mando's under construction), Cer'jo Aclos Cln Alor'ad in gold and green, Ordo Skirata Verd'ika in red, Me with my new armor upgrades... greaves, thigh pouches and holsters and last but not least, the new Official Member Prudii Skirata!
