General Prototype Fett Build

W.I.P. Prototype Fett build Update.
I've been home for a couple week and chipped away at getting things corrected for 501st approval and MMCC. I recently asked Andrew Hoyt if he could make a replica of the Prototype flamethrower which is very close to the PP2 flamethrower. I recently got the 3d file from Dented by rafalfett for the flamethrower housing. Printed and painted. Got the thrower into the housing and mounted to the vembrace.

It looks great so far! I love how smooth the casing is (I assume that you had to do some cleaning), but also love the scratch built internals. The only thing that is a bit off is the gas coupling sticking out too much from the back of the flamethrower casing. Here is an image of the proto Fett for reference:

I used the Pre-Pro #2 flamethrower as a base for the Supertrooper/Pre-Pro #1 flamethrower in lack of reference.

Yea its difficult to close the qd with it any further in . My guess is that why we don't see it attached in many pictures. I have enough space to push the ring down to get the hose to lock. Any further and you cannot connect the hose at all.with the space it has the gnarled ring bottoms out on the casing.

Hey I recognize that flamer! Awsome man I really appreciate you showing it off. I'm so happy you like it, I am always a bit scared that my work won't meet expectations. You have to be one of the nicest, easy to work for customers our there.
Your build is looking amazing and I will follow it with glee.
Your really knocking this suit out of the park, I cant wait to see what you post next!
