New ESB CRL question ?

the hose attachment for ESB is very similar, if not identical to that of PP2. looking at the reference photos for PP2, in some of the shots the hose looks attached to the block (sorta but not really) and others you can clearly see the separation. it all depends on the angle and extension of the arm coupled with if the clear hose covering the black wire has slid closer to the shoulder or the gauntlet.
i dont really think there is a question of whether or not the hose is attached to the block, it clearly isn't. and i dont think it fits into the block either. the back side of the block appears to be the same diameter as the hose itself. so like in PP2, im pretty certain that the hose in ESB is just sliding up and down the black wire, sometimes sitting flush against the block and sometimes not.
i took an old vacum cleaner's cylindrical power cord, CA glued one end into the block then tied the other end in a knot, limiting the hose's ability to slide back and forth too much up and down the wire and it will sit flush against the block most of the time. but when i bend my right arm, it creates the separation, sufficing both looks seen in the references photos.
Funkyred, regarding the plug, definitely not on the hose side of the block. the block was originally a plug itself, seen in the ST reference photos. so if anything, the hose runs through the block and disperses into plugs that connecting to jacks installed in the shell. its even referred to as "1 plug block" in the parts list in the costume documentation.

exactly how I did mine, took a 1/8" threaded rod and cut it to 2", E6000 into the gauntlet and "screwed" the black nylon tubing on it, hadn't budged and doesn't pull when I'm moving
