NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume

Alright; I am pretty well tired tonight from having to work through a PowerPoint presentation for my computer class. So the only thing I will post up tonight is a few of the photos I got while I was at Glamis. Here they are and enjoy guys:

An overall kick @$$ adventure.

ok i wana go there and play on the dunes with my armor!!! and have pics taken!! ha ha

that looks like a lot of fun!! all we have here are mesquite trees... and them hurt to climb!! B^P

A real mandalorian plays in the sand and goes to the dunes of Tatooine (California). A regular person likes climbing trees and getting scraps from them. Srry had to but yeah the dunes are a lot of fun. You miss out if you did not live where I am.

Though I am not in NJROTC anymore I still hold high support for the Navy. But any part of the U.S. military branch is good. I remember in the class we would make fun of the military branches and their names and slogans.

-Air Force we called them the Chair Force (sorry kal'ika).
-Army we made fun of their slogan of An Army of One where they can only count to one (sorry for those in the Army.)
-Marines we made fun of their slogan of The Few. The Proud saying there are only a few of them (sorry for those in the Marines).

The Coast Guard was their but I don't remember. But that is what fun of in terms of the other JROTC military branches.

----

Now in terms of updates I was going to work on some stuff today but lucky us (being in Arizona) we got rained out today so there is no dice on painting or any of that good stuff. Sorry guys!!! Hopefully, tomorrow or sometime this week we will have that okay weather of working on stuff.

N.A.V.Y. Never Again Volunteer Yourself... JK, my dad was NAVY, he retired back in 87 after something like 20 years, he was a recruiter for a while in Colorado (go fig, NAVY where there AIN'T NO OCEANS?!?! :wacko). We lived in GA, FL, CO, CA, HI, VA. He retired as a CMCPO. I gotta admit, I hated moving and losing friends, but I wouldn't have been able to see all the thing and places I did if he wasn't in the military.

I usually don't engage in the service branch name calling... but I've heard the Coast Guard called the bathtub navy, and I've heard the Navy Air Wing called the puddle jumpers...he he. Now honestly I hold no animosity toward any other service, I was originally going to attend the Naval Academy and enter as a Marine, but instead I went to real college and graduated as an Air Force officer, turns out the Navy/Marines didn't have the job I wanted... oh well! lol I've already been in KY, FL and now OK. I've also had the chance to see places like SD, AL, DC, WA... I know, nothing really spectacular yet but I'm workin' on it! lol

As for the armor, as soon as I finish up this mass sketch I'm working on, or at least get it closer to finished... I'll go ahead and sketch out your colors concept for ya.

Puddle jumpers  I love it.

BUT I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO SERVE AND HAVE SERVED AND WILL SERVE.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SACRIFICE AND COURAGE

Puddle Jumpers wow! That is funny what to call the Coast Guard. I have to admit. But now that I remember I don't think we made fun of the Coast Guard in NJROTC. I know one of my friends who is now a Junior in high school wants to go into the Coast Guard and know pratically two people going into the Navy, three people going into the marines or in the marines, and one person going army. I had the idea of going into the Navy but then the thought pushed away when I realized I'd be leaving behind my family and friends.

And I do say thank you to those who have served and will serve. You have the sacrifice and courage of a mandalorian warrior. That is why I always carry my Navy flag at the DUNES!

And thanks kal'ika I much appretiate it. It will help me out greatly.

If anyone talks $hit about your flag, you have my permission to kick their shebs.

Yeah, it is hard to make friends then 3 years later move, then make new friends and another 3 years later lose them too.

Honestly it screwed my social life, but i was a kid, and at least I had the strength to hang with the nerds and not the druggies

So, Commander if you join, remember how it will affect your kids, but you are young, you can get in quite a few good years and then retire with out affecting your kids (obviously you'll wait on having kids right ;) ) because when you retire, they'll still be young, and you can retire back home in Phoenix near your family.

My sister married an ARMY guy and moved to PA, none of our family is there, she got divorced and is stuck there. My wife and I live within 7 miles of her family and my parents.

I talk a lot don't I?

I talk osik! lmao but it's all in good fun. I have friends in every branch, both officer and enlisted and we give each other a hard time just for fun, no one branch can win a war on their own. As for military families... Honestly, raising a military family is all about the family. If the bond between the troop and the spouse isn't strong there will be problems. Fi and I had our fair share early on, still going through some, but we're getting it sorted out, she's a great military wife/mom and she does a great job with out daughter. But yeah CC... if anyone else ever gave u any trouble for that flag I'd be right there to back u up! lol

I've know a few of the younger navy wives who were just that YOUNG, and they cheated while their husbands were out serving their countries, thank God my mom was strong, I mean not having my dad around for up to 6 months at a time.

adonian its alright I enjoy the talk as much do the other people here when nothing else is happening. It's good to know....

Well during my four years of NJROTC; I had a lot of people asking me if I am going into the military. When I said no they asked then what is the purpose of taking NJROTC as a class and then in the long run not joining the military. I told them straight out its not a recruiting class it just introduces you to the NAVY background and gives you that experience of what you are to expect when you graduate high school. Heck when I first joined my mom thought it was a recruiting class until she came to an event and found out otherwise. Then she started supporting me on every event we had through the class.

I actually only had one person ask me about the NAVY flag and it was when I was at Glamis during the Thanksgiving trip. He asked me if I was in it because he was in it and on leave so yeah. But I am all for the support guys thanks. I only like the NAVY because they go on the big BOATS and I enjoy the travel and boats. LOL!

I was in the Army. Went in to travel, see the world....they sent me to Georgia....and not even a part of the state I hadn't seen. Heh.

Our thing was acronyms.

U.S. A.R.M.Y.- Uncle Sam Ain't Released Me Yet
Y.M.R.A. S.U. (US ARMY backwards)- Yes My Retarded A** Signed Up
A.R.M.Y.- Ain't Ready for Marines Yet
M.A.R.I.N.E.- My A** Rides In Navy Equipment
M.A.R.I.N.E.- Muscles Are Required, Intelligence Not Expected

All in good fun, of course. We were a mixed post, so we had people from all branches (and even foreign millitaries) with us.

yeah I work with some guys from other nations, it's actually kinda cool getting to meet all of these people from all over the place. My base now is mostly AF, but I've been stationed w/ Army before, not bad ppl (for the most part) (and that's a compliment coming from me! lmao)

*chuckles* Yeah. Our barracks were smack dab in the middle of the "crossroads" of the post. We had Air Force and Navy crossing through our company area all the time. Their barracks were on one side of our company area, and the D-Fac (dining facility) was on the other side.

Plus, I was an Air Traffic Control Equipment Repairman and so my workshop was filthy (so to speak) with AF personnel. Always got teased about it from the other Army guys. All in good fun, of course.

I had a quick design idea and went through searching for photos. Here is what I have found. But I am still going to wait to see what you draw up Kal'ika.
