Natasha Richardson has passed

Wife of Liam Neeson (Qui Gon Jinn in Episode I) has passed. It is with a heavy heart that I post this. Neeson is one of my favorites, both in and outside of the Star Wars world. I wish him and his family strength through this difficult time:cry

Very sad news. Apparently she wasn't wearing a helmet. Looked like a completely innocent tumble and potential life-saving paramedics were turned away initially.....Heart wrenching.....

I grew up in Colorado and have been a ski instructor for 20 years and I can't fathom a simple tumble being so tragic. I have never worn a helmet while skiing nor have I made my kids...that all just changed. Sad, sad story.

So sad!:cry and we're the same age. The thing that gets me is several times in my life I've fallen and hit my head pretty hard on concrete. Had a headache afterward, but otherwise with no ill effects. Wonder why that is so? Her fall suppossedly wasn't that bad.
