My wife in ICU

San Diego are so you GnG know were I am coming from. At approximately 830 this morning my wife collapsed from a sezure and now is in ICU on a breathing machine because of continious sezures. The cause is still being looked into, but as for now she is sleeping with assistance of high doses of medication. Ill keep you updated. She is at Grossmont SICU rm 2 in case any one wanted to know, her name is Amy. Ill try check board as I can.
 
Not fun. I've been in ICU myself in the past. Hope they figure out her problem and take care of it quickly. Prayers for you guys.
 
Brokenboba, so sorry to hear about your wife. You know you've got positive thoughts and prayers from your brothers and sisters here at TDH.
 
Thank you everyone for your support. Not much has changed today, I was able to communicate with her a bit even with the tubes down her throat, mostly with pen n paper n head nods. She recieved a MRI but all results were normal. Thats good but bad as well since we still dont know what caused the sezieures as of yet. The neuroligist thinks that the intabation , tubes, might get to come out tomorow. That would be a blessing in it self. She has been struggling with a fever, which some of us family types believe its the propananol, the white milk looking stuff used to keep people sedated through iv,because they had to up it past max and her fever increased. So it kinda makes sense. There is not much more to tell. Thank you all again, ill post more as I get more.
