Messy Belts when out in costume

Howdy
I’ve recently been trooping my ESB Fett with the 501st and having a fun time. The one thing that I struggle with is keeping the Girthbelt together. The various cords seem to separate and slip down behind the cod which kinda looks messy and I see a lot of Fetts on social media who always seem well turned out.

Currently my cod peice is connect to my kidney plate with the square keys and only attached to my flightsuit with a little bit of velcro on the back of the kidney plate.

Any help and suggestions with be gratefully received

Do you have pictures of your girthbelt? Did you make it yourself or from a vendor?

Having the girth slip behind the cod is actually screen accurate. It happened to the original costume.

I glued strips of 2" wide nylon webbing to the back of my girthbelt with E6000. They no longer separate.
