Knee dart question

I don't know if it's ever been asked but do we know where the knee darts came from? have they been found? the reason I ask is, I was looking at random stuff on ebay and ran across spear gun tips for spears. they look an awful lot like the knee darts. just wondering. thanks.

Interesting idea. I did a lot of looking at the knee darts some time ago. My thoughts allways turned a blank. In the end,mainly due to the fact there are at two different styles of knee dart,I gave up. Just thought they must have been made and not found.
