It's a shame...

I remember when i was a newbie here and the information was a bit overwhelming even after I did countless amount of searches i still felt lost, so at least for me it was more about someone pointing me in a general direction

Most of the time it counts the way you put your question. If you try to reanalyze the question before make a thread with it, I guess it's easier for the others to answer or to give you the good directions to threads that cover all or partially your needs.

Respect!

Ahh but it is a Fett help line if it were meant only to search through it would be a Wiki and not an open forum. I stick to my guns no one is forcing anyone to answer these newbs questions.
Understand I didnt start this thread to have it filled with more comments about bothersome newbs asking questions cut these guys a break and show them some love and make them feel welcome here more and more TDH is becoming a robot response filled sterile place and it wasnt that way when I joined. The heavies here have a wealth of info and experience that isnt cached somewhere here in an old thread but still in their minds and to not share it willingly is the "shame" I am refering to.

Heh... you must have joined at a better time than me. My first year here anything I posted was met with the chirping of critics. People didn't start really talking to me until I had established myself for quite a long time.

When I first came to TDH I thought it was a board full of elitist snobs, but I didn't care because it had the info I needed.
