I can finally take Zam out of the box

I've made a few changes :) .. still in progress....

The wall panels are portable. I actually have another short section, like in the move that goes underneath these and raises up the whole thing 14". I just can't use them at home. It's. o.k. because they're designed to stand on their own as a corner and I put a black ABS floor down for photos at conventions and such.

I figured I made enough changes to share ;) ... another excuse to show my stuff I guess hehe

Now I just wish I could locate about 6 more mannequins to display the rest of my costumes and I guess build a few more panels to go around a corner ;)
 
Just one question MonCal... what do you do in your spare time? ;) That is just amazing!!! I'm waiting for Threepio to come through and start giving a tour! :D

hehe.. no kidding. Well.. I should have some plated heads here soon so I guess I could have his head floating around the room on a string ....... on second thought... that is kinda creepy :eek:

I'm trying to get them better and better. Infact, some pursuasion from new zammers has motivated me to start critiquing the zam.

Here's one of our for fun comparison pics. It's tough to do these kinds of pictures because of the completely different lighting, different cameras, mannequin, poses, angles, etc.

Can you tell which is which? ;) hehe ... well... I can for sure but that goes without saying. There are several things I know we need to change. The greeblies need to be smaller, the gauntlets need to be completely redone. Veil and mock hood need to be fixed. We might even make a new vest .... we'll see ;) A lot of the parts are damned close. I even surprised myself with the chest and belly armor :shock:

Now I need a mannequin for my Boba so I can pick it apart ;)
 
I finally bought a mannequin for my main costume ... FETT!! :)
only about 6 more mannequins to go ... for now ;)

With just a few modifications I think I'll be happy with him.

But I gotta wonder... will you ever be 100% satisfied with any of your costumes? ;) Not that you're a perfectionist or anything... :) :lol:
