How do you guys weather your ammo belts?

For the MOW belt, I found that it was too tan in colour. I took a leather stain (spray can from a shoe store), masked off the stitching, and then weathered using very light sandpaper and my hobby knife.

i used black acrylic paint and dry brushed mine, used my fingernail to add in a few scratches. I'll be going over a few stitches with paint to clean it up a bit

I just made mine using Batninja's tutorial. Going at it slow so I don't overdo it, using fine sand paper over it which works nice. Deathproofs belt rocks. I need to step mine up. Pales in comparison. Also I made mine using the fake leather vinyl. Technique will vary.

I did my MOW belt using the same technique as DeathProof. I actually messaged him a few times to get the correct spray dye (rattle cans). Mine came out very similar. I used masking tape to cover the stitched detailing on the pouches. I cut slivers of masking tape with my xacto so I didn't have to touch up the dye after. Came out great!!!IMG_9259.JPGIMG_9262.JPGIMG_9263.JPGIMG_9264.JPG

I always thought the ESB belt looks unweathered in the screenshots i found. I dont know about the ROTJ belt but in my eyes the ESB belt doesnt look weathered. What do you think?

ESB is white belt (super trooper?), painted brown. Not sure about weathering really, but its certainly got some white showing through, from some "action"...
