HIC found parts electronics question

Ord Mantell

so on my HIC hero panel I have the original found part for the electronic display, which is nice, but they are not powered and don't light up. Just curious, has anyone ever figured out how to power them up? Is it impossible?

the part on my HIC:

Nice!

What do the pin outs look like on the back of the displays? Do they have a part number on the displays so you can look up their specs? It MIGHT be possible to order a kit from Fettronics or another manufacturer and use your displays instead, with the power sources/boards, that they supply in their kits? No idea if this would work, its just my first thought on it.

Just did some googling and found some threads on the RPF, one with this info but has not been updated for more than a year:

RPF is an awesome source- want to be completely amazed? Check out the large scale 1/6 Slave 1 build!!!!!
You don’t need to go that far. He has a thread here too.

Thanks. I'm aware. The solution to my problem is to buy a part from a member on the RPF but my old account was deleted and I've been unsuccessful at creating a new account. Keeps flagging my accounts as fake. At some point I'll try to get some help from the admins.
