I’ve done two ROTJ packs before, but never an ESB.. this pack involves more dry brushing and topical weathering than an ROTJ or SE pack so that was definitely different for me. All in all this was about two weeks of painting (due to other projects, work, and our month-old daughter), and was a lot of fun to do. It isn’t finished yet, and the yellow stripe at the bottom of the pack needs the light misting of orange over it, but overall I am very happy with how this turned out!
Base coat of green was spruce green from rust oleum, and top coated with the 76&78 Humbrol mix by an airbrush to get the right shade of green. Yellow is yellow-ochre acrylic paint, which just looked the part perfectly and I already had it from another project.
