Thanks man. Yes the visor is masked off. Just didn’t mention it. It is fun seeing the helmet coming alive. And this is my first one. I am so excited I can do it. Thanks again. More paint to follow.

My helmet is coming alive. Stencil and mask done for the next layer. Grey #28 and a mist of beige #103.

Airbrushed the Grey #28 and misted beige #103. Stenciled the final layer and applied the liquid mask. Ready to airbrush the green layer. I will brush topically all the fine details missed and apply the scratches.

Back panel airbrushing is done with the #86 and #96 mix. Still need to paint topically the missing damages and scratches. Do some weathering. But in all I am happy for my first time attempting a boba helmet paint up.
Such a big learning curve.

Got the right panel detailed. Next Going to lightly buff the back panels with 0000 wire wool. Then it’s dome time.

Thanks I’m super happy the way it has turned out so far. The back panels were a big learning curve for me. It’s going to make the dome so much easier. Labor of love.

Masked off everything except the dome and lower cheeks. Also sized the dome and lower cheek stencils. And applied the liquid mask to a spot above the key slots and on the dent. Ready for silver #11 on the dome.

Applied the liquid mask to the base grey areas on the dent, above the key slots. Then airbrushed the silver #11 on the dome.

Stenciled all the silver damage on the dome and lower cheeks. Also made a kill stripe stencil to position the silver damage in that area.

Until after next week. I will paint the next color layer after next week Vacation time.

Applied the liquid mask to the silver damage and airbrushed they Grey 79 onto the dome and lower cheeks. When dry I will remove the liquid mask and stencil the grey damage mask and airbrush brush the green.

Made some good progress on my Helmet. Got the green done on the dome and lower cheeks. Need to do some fine details. Next the details and black on the upper cheeks.

The black on the upper cheeks are done these went pretty quick. Next onto the mandelbels and trim.
