ESB / ROTJ popularity question

Hey Fettheads,

Life happened a couple of times and I am restarting this costume build for the Nth time.

I have unscientifically noticed currently more ROTJ activity here than ESB / SE / BoBF builds. I thought that the last time I was this active most builds were ESB.

Any Boba Fett costume is a good Boba Fett costume, but I’m just curious for anyone’s input why ROTJ is noticeably more popular currently.

The main reason is just a personal choice to which versions people prefer to build, ect. (My choice is ESB for many reasons). Alot of people also have built both costumes. At the end of the day build whichever costume you like the most.

SE is popular because it’s a mix of the ESB helmet and ROTJ along with no sidearm. With castings off the original replicating the SE accurately is easier too!

Empire is still the best though!

Honestly though, all Fetts are good Fetts.

If I had to give my favorites from the screen-used costumes it would be:

ESB > ROTJ SE > ROTJ > BoBF/MS2

It's the helmet that makes me biased towards ESB/ROTJ SE. In my eyes the helmet is just superior to ROTJ. I don't even want to talk about what they did with the helmet in BoBF/MS2...

Another example of why I like ESB is because it's the first time I saw the character, so it has some meaning behind it. The ESB movie in my opinion embodies what the character is all about. The same goes for my Stormtrooper build from ANH.
