just curious. Is the side the hinges official for the film version? I have pre production but still want to put the hinges on the right side.
Rocket Launcher "i think thats what it is..." on the left arm and flame thrower on the right?
So are the hinges on the inside of his arms toward the body or facing away from the body?

The hinges are not screen accurate but will be 501St approved. I did it with the hinges too because its the best way to do it with resin gaunts in my opinion. And usually you put the hinges at the inside. If using vac-formed gaunts use velcro, thats accurat.

unusual that the hinges are on the inside "towards the body" rather than on the outside so that the wearer can easily unlatch them.

No, the snaps are on the outside like you can see it in the photos of this wip. Hinges on the inside. Or you would have to remove the flamethrower before opening the gaunts.
