I was hoping someone would NOT remind me about the "STRAP" up the crack! OUCH!!!! But we want accuracy don't we? So I guess the strap goes on, and the underwear wedges itself into the great pit of Carkoon!!!!

I don't think you have to have that strap really tight you know! It's to help hold the cod on, not give you a permanent wedgie. Of course, having that really tight might show off your butt to its greatest advantage, (guys in thongs can be really hot! :love ), so it all depends on your purpose for being at a convention...
Seriously though, I seem to have seen some of pics that show that that strap isn't totally tight, which may help solve the overly friendly underwear/crack relationship. Can you back me on this Brak's (or anyone else with photos)?

My Only Fettsih, I am not sure I can support you on that claim. Honestly, (no jokes intended) I haven't spent a lot of time studying that particular piece. The only pic that immediately comes to mind is this painful one. EGAD!!!!

From the look of the jet pack I can say that it looks like the 3rd ESB suit, I am doing the 2nd pre pro suit, so for now the crack filler is going to be a little looser!!

I was acutally planning on skipping the butt floss all together. My cod piece seems to stay in place without it. Now driving with it on is another story... Anyway, my cod piece did not come with the back connector. Where did you guys get yours? If it is homemade, who's got an accurate pattern?

Fettcicle, you are right... twice! That IS the ESB suit pictured above AND the strap does not appear as tight on the prepro suit. Here is a pic:



PS HEY HAMMERHEAD (AKA MR ESB FETT), are you SURE you want to do ESB? If so, I expect it to be ACCURATEin EVERY detail!!! The crotch strap alone is enough to make me steer clear on that version! SHEESH! :rolleyes

Now does the cod piece overlap the butt plate or does the butt plate overlap the cod piece? The reason I am asking is if you look at the black and white photo from the chronicles book of all the parts of the 1st pre pro suit lying out, the cod piece is sitting on top of the butt plate, and on one side it looks like one of the cubes is attached to the butt plate.........

I would go with the codpiece over the buttplate as you can see in the closeup pic I posted above.

I would say as a general rule for the armor, any piece on the front of the body would overlap any piece on the back. Just like the collar armor and back armor.

Someone PLEASE correct me if I'm mistaken.

Does anyone have measurements for how deep the strap is in the butt-cheek??

Since we ESB-ers are low on reference material, we have to make sure that the pieces we have good pics of are faithfully represented on our suits....

Since many of us are trying to be as accurate as possible, we may have to ask Jeremy for the dimensions of his ass. Hey, I'll bet nobody has asked him that question yet!
