chest to back plates?

hey one last q!!!!!!!!!!! how does the neck piece armour connect to the backplate, do they just butt up close, connect via straps or is there a gap? i cant find any ref pics to help. cheers justin

The collar plate slightly overlaps the back armor.
I used the same method described in the thread posted by Jluck: bolts set into the collar studs, and attached from inside with nuts.
