i just got a real borden connector and i wanted to know if anyone else has one and had any tips for cutting down the length of the connector to fit the helmet? just want to get some feedback before i take the dremal to it.

thanks SlaveR5

I was out of hacksaw blades, so I actually used a dremel on mine. Just put it in the vice, used the fibreglass cutting disc to cut the big plug part on the end off, and filed it down smooth. Easy as pie. Assuming the hole orientation is the same on yours, you will want to make the side you just cut face outwards.

I just left mine intact because I thought it looked like a really cool greeblie on the inside of the helmet. Plus, my BKBT bucket is big enough that the borden connector doesn't touch my face while I'm wearing it. See, here I am about to go pick the kids up from school...
