New Fett under construction seeking input......

Greetings folks,

I'm new to the board and starting on my Fett. I was wondering if the community could give me a basic overview of the 3 Fett styles (ESB, ROTJ, & Pre-Pro) with regards to pros/cons, availability of armor & soft parts for each, and any other info that you'd think might help out.

I'm beginning my suit by using Wizard's templates and following the trash can route. The two main reasons for this the is b/c of not alot of experience with vac tables or molding(although I'd like to build one eventually) and I want to get my hands into this and really make it my own.

I've been really impressed with the wealth of info on the board and figure the best place to ask is the source!

Really, the main differences between most of the costumes are the colors.
For instance Gauntlets, now Pre pro and ESB have a diff flamer than the ROTJ as for colors PRE pro has the brownish color right gauntlet and a yellow left, ESB is Green, and ROTJ is Brown. Cape for prepro is same as ROTJ, ESB is diff. Jumpsuit colors are different. Jet Packs are diff colors, ESB is green while the ROTJ is multicolored:jet pack. Like I said mainly colors are the biggest difference.

Armor really can suit all the Fett types, but you will need to know what one you wanna do when you get gauntlets. That's pretty much it in a nutshell!

Just out of curiousity, are there any pics without the jet pack? It's definitely something I want to do later but probably will not do up front.

oooh, that's a can of worms right there.

the best thing i can say to that is that i've had numerous kids under the age of 10 check out my backpack at events, so people will know something's up if you don't have it

and don't forget the special edition boba, which is very popular. rotj suit with the esb helmet.

Another community question, the chest medallion is the center piece cut out with another piece behind for the silver or is a just a recessed cut and then colored in?

usually it's a recessed bit. mine was actually cut out, and i put a piece of sheet metal behind it.
