Boba Fett "Re-Painted" build.

Work has been slow on the helmet... but it is indeed nearly completion. One half of an earcap on, some silver weathering on the edges. The top ear cap is complete as well... I masked and painted. No decals. I commissioned a custom stalk, as it needed to be taller. Getting very close indeed!

I gotta know what paints you used for that green! I am beginning my build soon and thought about using some ROTJ paints and giving them light blackwashes to give that hint of weathering but I'm not so sure. I am trying to get as close as possible to screen accurate

What greens did you use for the helmet and armor? for the helmet I have used green klow- 41115 stelth from the kobra brand, and for the brazilian green armor from the dayclors brand but with a layer of black montana shade to darken it, but it doesn't convince me; In some scenes of the series it looks darker in general and in others lighter, it is a dilemma ...

Great build! Thinking about starting one myself. Sorry for the noob question but what are you using for under the vest? For the long sleeves? I know fett armory sells the vest and short sleeve shirt but what goes under that?

I have a sinking feeling that when the book of boba fett comes out he will have changed his armour again or tweeked his look a liitle bit. It is Disney after all, they will be probably thinking about all the new merch they can release. I might be wrong, i have become a bit cynical in my old age

I don't think you're far off. As much of a pain it would be for costumers and collectors I would really like to see a weathering progression, more paint chipping and the like.

Seanem44 wow that looks good! Ive seen a lot of these helmets by now and some overdo the "beneath the paint" texture while others have a horrible shade of green. Yours looks right.

On a different note: I'd like to see more of the Battleships in the Background please :D

So, late to the table (my middle name) but, looking at the hand guards by Wasted Fett has me wanting to order some. But, all his website offers is boots. Has he stopped producing them? If so, who is the next best option? Just started piecing this one together.

Ah... can't remember who I got mine from but they are perfect. I recommend going to the Mandalorian Boba Fett FB page and joining. That's where I found them.

Quick update... Not much going on right now. I am updating the belt to be more accurate and have acquired a JJ industries buckle. I am making the leather belt myself but have sourced the holster elsewhere. The main problem right now is the lack of accurate armor. Still waiting. Some are close to getting it right, but not close enough for my taste. In the mean time, I ordered an ESB cleaned up bucket to get ready for BOBF, which looks to use the old style helmet.
