Boba "Cheeks" - Template?

Just wondering if there's an easier way to do this section of Boba's cheeks than the one I came up with last night?
( My helmet thread's here. )

Using one of the photos DLed here as a reference ( I forget who's... Sorry! ), I stuck it into Photoshop and measured the length of the bottom of the cheek on my own helm.
Tweaked the size, printed it off... And in the end, had to only use about 2/3 of the template, folding the rest under the edge of the helm as it simply rose too far up the cheek.

I know that the bst way would be to mask it purely with tape, but I'm not THAT good at eyeballing! :S

Unfortunately there are so many different helmets out there that it would be problematic to create a universal set of masks, but there is an easier way to mask unusual shapes. There is a new plastic wrap for storing food on the market that will stick anything. It works great for masking off aircraft canopies with all their compound curves. Just tear off a sheet, lay it on the area to be masked smooth it out and carefully trim the excess with a sharp X-Acto knife. One really nice thing about this stuff is that it won’t lift the previous layers of paint.

This is an excellent method, however you need to be careful if using an airbrush as the paint tends to gather on the film and then run down onto the helmet causing nasty run marks. To prevent this just do very light coats and allow each one to partially dry before applying the next.
