Ah I see.

not the Box is to big -> the whole plate is to big.

Sure, scaling the Gun down for a Women would be too much, but scaling the Plate down and leave the box normal size -> sounds logic

This should help...
As you can see the gun should sit further into the holster. The handle should rest over the raised lip of the holster. And that means the holster should be wider than than gun.
