thats one of the reasons I'm getting it myself. for somer reason people always wanna take pictures with being deheaded for some reason and when my helmet goes up in the air you could see my huge jaw there.
I wear the whole headsock thing but still it always annoys me. Thanks guys, I'll probably try making one myself now. Course, if I get frustrated, I know where to go!
its the thing that goes at the bottom of jangos helmet that keeps it on your head? does anyone have a pattern of one removed out of the helmet so i could sew my own?
I know that in the C2 pics (which I did not attend) the helmet has a gasket. However, in that famous picture of Jango rising into the air after "unloading" on Obi-Wan, there is no gasket. I'll try to post the pic tomorrow.
I have had two setups with a gasket. The first, I had a fully sealed visor that was hotmelted in & two computer fans in a push/pull configuration for bringing in fresh air & venting the stale air out. I found the helmet visor would fog pretty easily. The second setup I did not seal the visor. It was bolted in with tiny spacers to keep the visor away from the helmet. This worked so well for airflow that I was able to eliminate one of the fans.
One solution would be to attach the seal with velcro, so on really hot days you could remove it, but on colder days you could leave it in. Also, spit works really well in preventing stuff from fogging up.
