Anuminum Armor?

Aluminum Armor?

Is there anyone on here who knows anything about getting myself some aluminum Mando'ad armor? The main reason I want the aluminum is because my beskar'gam is gonna go through a lot. I'm gonna wear it to school, at home, and just about everywhere. I'm crazy, yes, I know, but that's my problem, not yours. And if someone would be willing to make it for me, I've got an idea for a custom design that I created. It's designed for a Mando'a who prefers manuverability over a big jet pack and a missile. As such, it's got more plates in the back and shaped differently than standard Mando'ad beskar'gam to allow for more manuverability. Any help here? Oh, one other thing. If someone is willing to make it for me, let me know so that I can actually get around to getting an actual job, instead of just volunteering at the local Christian coffee bar. Which I've got nothing wrong with. So if you can, let me know.

Bud. Do you wear costumes? For one thing, the armor is very hot. I call it the Star Wars Calisthenics Program. If you want aluminum, not only will you bake, but you will most surely sweat yourself into an early grave. Go with Sintra PVC or something like that. It is lighter and easier to wear. I made my Boba costume from it. I also made my Black Ops Trooper with it. Check it out on my site.

Go with Sintra PVC dude...it holds up really well. If you do sheet aluminum...you're just going to get scratches and dents all over the place. If you do poured aluminum...well...that's going to cost a bit.

Just get a set of Sintra PVC armor off eBay and use some rub n buff on it to make it nice and shiny like aluminum.

Try $600 for a set of aluminum chest armour... yes... you might want to go with some Sintra, it works great, I love mine, I could never replace it.

i have full aluminum armor for my fett. my total cost for the chest, abdomen, kidney, cod, collar back and shoulders was almost $1000, unpainted.

so it's possible, but it's quite an investment.

Ya the big padded flak jacket doesnt really help, no matter what you make the armor from, this costume is mild when it comes to sweating, very mild.

Okay, thanks. I was wondering, because I've got a friend who's had to replace several pieces of his armor, because they've become cracked due to use. That's why I thought of aluminum, mainly. And the scratched and dented part is a good thing for me. Why the shabla would I want beskar'gam that looked like I never used it?
Also, I'm wondering how much it would cost for someone to make me the armor based on a custom design that I created for increased manuverability. It's got a lower ab plate, designed to more closely match where the torso bends when fighting (or just bending over), and the back plate is actually five plates that are designed to not hinder movement. If someone could, or knows someone who could make some for me out of the sintra PVC, please let me know.
Yes, I know that the Fetts had different armor, but I don't wanna be a Fett. I want to be my own Mando'ad that I thought up a while back. Thanks!
