And so here I am

New Hunter
Hello all, I actually signed up on here just over a year ago, but between working on two other Star Wars costumes and other "real life" issues happening I haven't really had time, motivation, or the funds to invest in building a ROTJ Boba Fett like I want.

Well suppose I should actually introduce myself lol

My name is James, I am a big Star Wars Fan of course. I live in the northern Utah, Davis county area. I have two awesome kids. I am retired from the Army National Guard. Work full time civilian side in the pipe line industry.

I have a completed RTOJ Imperial Guard costume, and I am currently about 80% completed on my Sandtrooper from A New Hope.

For myself personally I want to build a ROTJ Boba Fett at some point.

However what has given me a push to really jump back in to the forum with both feet is my 12 yr old daughter. She has never really shown much intrest in Star Wars until last night. With the premier of the new Rebels series she is hooked! I couldn't be more excited, not only is she in hook line and sinker, she has asked me to start to help her (meaning dad will you do this for me) with building her a Sabine Wrenn costume!

So here I am starting my research on what I am hoping will be a huge bonding point for myself and daughter.

So thanks for any help in advance and I am looking forward to getting started on this new adventure/project!

Welcome!! That's really awesome about your daughter!! Stoked to see your future build!
This forum is the best place to go for tips, places to go, things to use and how to's. Everyone here is really friendly and helpful.

Have fun and good luck!

Welcome James !

What a great reward for a father to have a daughter that gets into a Star Wars journey at his sides :) ! The forum is the greatest source of help you'll find for your project, for sure ! Have fun !

Welcome James! I've got a soft spot for the Imperial Guard myself... so I keep waffling back and forth trying to decide what my first helmet should be! Good luck with the new project!
