DarthMiller that looks cool but maybe a bit too clean? Here we go again with the dirty it up comments right?

Fantastic installation DM(y)

I'm working on mine now....I've got some real cool custom ideas that I'm incorporating into the overall final design. I'm combining my own ideas with MS's kit.....I can't wait to get it done and show off my work here....it's taking a while though.....lots of work;)

which way is it wobbly? Marrow, maybe something fabricated for the forehead too you could devise :)

Just a thought...

I'm proably not going to go that route. I figure guys will be using hardhat liners still or they can custom fit there own foam piece or sponge for their forehead. If I made something it might not fit everyones heads the same.

I want one of these sets for my display BM it really adds a nice touch to the prop, whens the next run?

heres my lid but you have to give BM the credit for it as he did the whole job :) next i am waiting for the updated RF unit to come

That's cool DL44! Looks good.
Does anyone have pictures of the inside of Boba's helmet? I don't have any, or know how to paint the interiors to look correct. Thanks.

the actual screen used Boba fett helmet doesnt have an interiour. the interiour came from the Riddle mini helmet & Marrow Sun was kind enough to make a life sized replica of that interiour. i dont know of any interiour riddle helmet pictures on the board right now

Thanks, BFS1. I have the MS interiors, but I've never seen the Riddell interiors. Also I thought possibly one of the Star Wars books out there might have had a cross section or something like I've seen for the Stormtrooper helmet. If anyone has pics of the mini helmet interior or something from a Star Wars book that would be cool.

That looks AMAZING!! I love it! You should add some blinking LEDS inside the interir, make it looks even cooler...NVM, thats a stupid idea, but i still would like to see what it looks like.:)

I was gunna put LED's in mine but then i realised that people would be able to see my face cause of the light so i ditched the idea

My kit showed up today, and is really just incredable, MS has done a great job on these, really top notch. Worked on mine non stop when I got home, and got the paint work finished up, and the pieces glued in. Little work left to go, (the mic is temparary) but pretty well got er! Really happy with it, adds that touch to the helmet, gives it that real world feel. Here are the pics

Yeah, when I get a project in my mind little else will sway me, food, sleep, little things like that, bah who needs em? (when my Trooper suit gets in, I think my girlfriend might kill me) Thanks a lot, that means a ton coming from the maker, I wanted to make sure I did your work justice. And yeah, these are a lot of fun to paint up! I do a lot of acrylic work on various things from customising made figures, making kits, full size props, and damn near anything else I can get a brush on, so this was a great project.

Great job travsall!!!! what type of paint did you use? i have a new set here that im still waiting to get some tie to paint :)

thanks!
