Internal servo switch?

Has anyone ever looked into putting the switch for the rangefinder servo inside the actual helmet? There are various mouth operated switches like sip/puff switches or tongue switches that could be utilized to lower and raise the rangefinder arm without having to visibly press a button.

It would be cool to be able to control it from the helmet. How bulky are the sip/puff switches and are the cost effective?

I'm not sure at a component level. I think the ones that are aimed at disabled individuals come with control systems so can be quite expensive. I think they are around $300 (£215).

I looked into a voice control one at one point, didn't really look cool, nothing beats raising your arm and pressing a button on your gaunt, just look so damn cool!
