Once again its my opinion....and I wont send someone to a overseas painter...in the US they are THE BEST. If there was better Id say so, not because of who is who or anything like that...I dont know SJ other then from TDH, I know Ponte and MANY more TDH members but his work stands out as the best around and his attention to detail is by far better then any ones.

SJ and Ponte are inspirational with their work but come on.....you won't send something to an overseas painter because in the US they are THE BEST? Really? I mean Steve the Swede? Welsh Warrior? So many great artists....

How can you degrade them like that?

I won't send work outside the U.S. Easy as that. And Ponte is better in my opinion any way. And if you don't understand why I support other Americans oh well.

I think it's important F4R that u mention not all of these great artists will take on new commissions.So cross off half that list.Im a stand up guy and have never had an issue as to paying or selling.But I've contacted some of the top guys and they woudent paint for me.I understand they live busy lives so there workload is very limited,and some have just stopped doing them completely,also some of there resources for paint and supplies also can limit what an artist can take on,and some are selective for who they paint for.So I'll keep my helmet unpainted to be honest it dosent look that bad.
Plisskin was asking about info on BobaMaker and it turns into who the best painter in the world is.

Google has everything you need to know about overseas shipping prices right now. That would be another factor for me. It's rough right now shipping to / from the UK. It's worth a Google.

Back on topic.... I have dealt with BM, he is great with his communication. Yes he has long wait times, but he always explains this right from the start of his dealings. And from my experience the goods turned up bang on time. He will even tailor the goods (eg,add a removable visor etc). Hope this helps.
