Sweet setup. Good job completing your ROTJ boba. You have to take a panoramic view of everything when you're done and post it.
Marc, where did you get the Luke head? It almost looks like an up scaled hot toys dx 07 bespin Luke head
This is indeed a hommage to the great dx07. I love this figure. The look of the face is so great. It reminds to Lukes appearance in ANH just in an ESB outfit and style. I thought it might be cool, to go from here for a life size build.
You do know your RoTJ is painted incorrectly?
Seriously, you could start charging admission at this point.
You do know your RoTJ is painted incorrectly?
Marc,Hi crumdum, please do not get me wrong. I am very thankful for all the help the members of our great forum provide. And of course I really appreciate every tipp, to make things better. I was just not quite sure, what benefit I could draw from your statement. But I am sure your remark was intended to be constructive. So I hope my reaction came not out too rude. That was not my intention. So please, never mind[emoji6]
Marc,
I never replied to your first response because it's your stuff so obviously how authentic you make it is totally your call. It was very hard to make out any details on your first pictures you posted but the latest ones you posted 3 days ago have some obvious painting differences even from that distance. I figured if you were willing to pay for authentic RoTJ gloves you might want to know some easy paint fixes to make the costume more authentic. Would anyone but the .00001% of the world who know Boba Fett notice...probably not...but you might.

The image above (bigger image found here) is the exact same pose as your costume...and the rocket is painted very differently. It's completely up to you if you want to paint it more accurate or not. There are other armor painting differences...but the rocket really jumps out.
Thank you for sharing this. You are absolutly right about the missle. In deed this is a provisional one. It is a resin rocket, that is about to be replaced by a aluminium one from Dakota. It has just still to get its weathering.
The gloves are an interesting issue itself. I suppose, the former gloves have been more accuracte, than the new ones (except the missing weathering and the wrong color). But I have to admitt, that I do not really like the thin officer gloves style. I just like heavier gloves more for a Boba. This is one of the things I had in mind, when I said, that I would like to have a more idealsized Boba Fett.
I also plan to replace the shin tools.
I guess, that this will not be the last improvement. I suppose, a build will never be really finished. So please tell me, what concrete things you have in mind, I could work on. I am thankful for any concrete hint.
