Blood on Boba's Boots? No way!

So I'm putting some final touches on my boots and was comparing them to the MOM reference pics. I saw something I hadn't noticed before. Anyone else think the brownish weathering on the toe spike plate looks a little red-tinged? Like he kicked someone in the face and got blood on his boots?




Anyone added some subtle red to their weathering? Or am I crazy?

Could also be rust, but hitting someone in the face sounds cooler
