I have a connection to get a plethora of actual horse hair for my ESB fett... I was just wondering how long the braids are so I can tell him how much I need? Like how long is the strands, I'm trying my best to stay as true to a screen accurate build as I can at this time.

You need to take into account the hair itself needs to be several inches longer than the finished braid. Like a 24 inch piece of hair won't be that long once braided. The silver/grey braid I do is in 2 sections. The braid and the tail.
