You will have these scratchmarks even with more clearcoat. But don't worry about this too much! It will add a nice natural weathering over the time you wear your suit

All piant through an airbrush. The varnish out of a rattle can. Make sure your temperature is ok though, otherwise the varnish could ripple

Yes,they arrived from boba maker ready to be painted.





Thank you for the other answers, I know that the varnish will not prevent scratches but in this condition they take a flick and painting leaves.
Should slightly sanding between each layers with sandpaper 1200? (sorry I do not know the exact name in English)

Build looks very nice! Did you apply a primer before you began painting?

I continued my boba fett ESB, I bought a model and now it is installed. It is still not completely finished, I have to fix the belt, the wookie braids, pockets, put the gauntlets from boba maker. But this is a first idea of the end result, I'm pretty happy with the result.
