Willow Charcoal Sticks (weathering)

Anyone ever weather there armor using these such sticks. They are used by artist. I think I'm lucky my GF gave me them but idk if it would be a good idea to use them.

Any Suggestions?

I think charcoal would not remain on the helmet after a lot of handling. Also not sure it would stick to the Rubb and Buff wax. Use arcylic paint.

Depends on if your doing Boba or Jango. I used the sticks and it works great. I took a razor and brushed up and down to create a fine powder. Then I used a very fine wide brush and patted the powder on the helmet. It covers nicely. :)

I use them ALL the time. I prefer the pencil type and apply it with a rag. Be sure to seal the job with some fixative spray though (available from art shops).
